How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Indapamide, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Indapamide is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Indapamide is a thiazide diuretic. It makes the condition better by lowering blood pressure by removing certain electrolytes & extra water from the body. Over time it also works by improving the blood flow and relaxing blood vessels.
Atenolol is a beta blocker that acts on the heart. It slows down the heart rate to make the heart pump the blood more efficiently around the body and works to make the condition better.
Q. Is Indapamide a water pill, beta blocker, calcium channel blocker, loop diuretic, diuretic, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, statins or blood thinner?
Indapamide is a diuretic like thiazide , a water pill.It is not a beta blocker, calcium channel blocker, loop diuretic, angiotensin that converts enzyme inhibitor, statins or blood thinner.

Q. Is Indapamide a sulfa drug, contains sulfa?
Indapamide is not advisable to take by the patients who are allergic to sulfa/sulphonamide since Indapamide is a sulfa drug that contains sulfa (sulphonamide).

Indapamide lowers the potassium level in the body as it, not a potassium-sparing.

Q. Can I take paracetamol, ibuprofen with Indapamide?
Ibuprofen may reduce the blood pressure lowering effect of Indapamide. Paracetamol can be taken with Indapamide. Always consult your doctor before use
