Neomycin is meant for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. For directions before use, please check the label. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Sulphacetamide / Sulfacetamide is meant for external use only.Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. For directions before use, please check the label. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Expert Advice
- Clean and dry the site of infection before applying Bacitracin. Application should be done by spreading the medication on the affected area forming a uniform film, preferably at same time of the day every day.Ensure that you complete the duration of treatment as advised by your doctor.Before you take Bacitracin, inform your doctor if have /are being treated for kidney disease or have hearing problems.Seek immediate medical attention if you develop any severe allergic reactions.Do not use topical Bacitracin for eyes, deep wounds, animal bites or severe burns.Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Neomycin tablets are not recommended for children below six year of age.Some patients (infants, elderly, obese and cystic fibrosis [genetic disorder that affects lungs] patients) may require monitoring of Neomycin levels in blood to prevent damage to the ear and kidneys.Caution is advised in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease or any disease characterized by muscle weakness, or in patients about to receive general anesthesia.Caution is also advised in patients who are exposed to loud noise, or patients who have been dehydrated due to diarrhea or vomiting.
