Tizanidine is generally used in treatment for muscle relaxation. Used in treatement of muscle spasms which may occur in diseases affecting the nervous system, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, or due to a disease or injury of head, brain, or spine.
Mefenamic Acid is generally used in treatment for pain relief. It relieves pain in conditions like period pain, headache, muscle pain, joint pain or dental pain.

How it works
Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.
Mefenamic Acid belongs to the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, fever, inflamation(swelling & redness) to make the condition better .
