Sultamicillin is generally used in treatment of abdominal area, bacterial infections of skin and female reproductive organs It is generally used in treatment for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, abdomen and lungs (pneumonia).
How to use
Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Sultamicillin tosilate, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Sultamicillin tosilate is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.
How it works
Sultamicillin tosilate is a double ester of sulbactam plus ampicillin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. It has enhanced activity against bacteria and less antibiotic resistance.
