How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Lercanidipine, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Lercanidipine is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Lercanidipine is a calcium channel blocker. It relaxes the blood vessels to make the heart pump blood more efficiently throughout the body & help improve the condition.
Atenolol is a beta blocker that acts on the heart. It slows down the heart rate to make the heart pump the blood more efficiently around the body and works to make the condition better.

To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you’re sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
  • Atenolol lowers your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes and heart attacks.It may also be used to reduce the number and severity of angina attacks (chest pain caused by heart disease).It may cause dizziness. If this happens to you, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.It can hide symptoms of low blood sugar if you're diabetic. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly.Do not stop taking Atenolol suddenly as it can cause your blood pressure to rise suddenly thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.
