Uses

Acyclovir is generally used in treatment of chickenpox, genital herpes infection, herpes labialis, herpes simplex virus infections and shingles

How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Acyclovir is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

Acyclovir is an antiviral drug. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
