Uses
Valethamate is generally used in treatment of the treatment of pain due to smooth muscle spasm.

How to use
Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Valethamate, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Valethamate is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.
How it works
Valethamate is an anticholinergic drug. It makes the condition better by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine), thereby relaxing the smooth muscles of cervix and intestine.

- Do not drive or operate machinery while taking Valethamate as it may cause dizziness.Do not drink alcohol while taking Valethamate as it may worsen the side effects.Take precautions while taking Valethamate if you have thyrotoxicosis (excessive amount of thyroid hormone in the blood); cardiac insufficiency, cardiac failure and cardiac surgery as it may worsen the condition.Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
