How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Amoxycillin, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Amoxycillin is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It makes the condition better by blocking an enzyme (beta lactamase) produced by bacteria to inactivate antibiotics. This reduces resistance and enhances the activity of antibiotics against bacteria.
Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It makes the condition better by preventing the bacteria from forming a bacterial protective covering that's essential for the bacteria to survive, thereby killing them.
Q. What is Clavulanic Acid?
Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It does not exert a clinically useful antibacterial effect on its own. It is used in combination with other antibiotics to increase their effect.
