Cefixime is generally used in treatment of the treatment of bacterial infections. It is generally used in treatment for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, ear, bone, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs (pneumonia). It is typically also used prevent infections after surgery.
Lactobacillus is generally used in treatment of diarrhoea, diarrhoea associated with antibiotics and infectious diarrhoea
Cloxacillin is generally used in treatment of the treatment of bacterial infections.

Cefixime is an antibiotic. It makes the condition better by preventing the bacteria from forming a bacterial protective covering that's essential for the bacteria to survive, thereby killing them.
Lactobacillus is a probiotic. It makes the condition better by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
Cloxacillin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is needed for them to survive.

- Your doctor has prescribed Cefixime to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.Discontinue Cefixime and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Cefixime as it may cause increased side effects.
- Avoid taking Lactobacillus along with steroids (medications that weaken the immune system) as they might increase the chances of getting sick.Notify your doctor if you are pregnant.Notify your doctor if you are breast-feeding.Take Lactobacillus at least 2 hours before or after antibiotics. This is because taking Lactobacillus along with the antibiotics can reduce their effectiveness.Â
