Warfarin is generally used in treatment for prevention of blood clots. It is generally used in prevention of and treat blood clots forming in the legs, lungs, brain or heart.
Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Warfarin, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Warfarin is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.Avoid Warfarin with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.
