Uses

Levosimendan is generally used in treatment of heart failure.

Side Effects

• Constipation
• Decrease in blood pressure
• Headache
• Hypokalemic (decreased potassium level in blood) alkalosis
• Increased heart rate
• Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping)
• Irregular heart rate
• Nausea
