Uses

Donepezil is generally used in treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia in Parkinson's disease It should be used in patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

• Muscle cramp
• Nausea
• Vomiting

How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Donepezil, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Donepezil is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to disturbances of signal transmission in the brain. Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It makes the condition better by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmissi. This improves memory and thinking.
