Dalfampridine is generally used in treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). It helps to improve walking ability and walking speed in people with multiple sclerosis.

How it works

Dalfampridine is a potassium channel blocker. It works by strengthening the communication between nerves and muscles. This results in improved muscle activity – in this case, walking – in people with multiple sclerosis.
