Uses

Diosmin is generally used in treatment of lymphedema, piles and varicose veins

How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Diosmin, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Diosmin is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Diosmin is a flavonoid. It makes the condition better by blocking the action of chemical messengers (prostaglandins, thromboxane A2) which cause inflammation (swelling) of the veins. This improves blood flow in the veins and restores normal vein function.
