Uses

Crotamiton Topical is generally used in treatment of the treatment of scabies.

How it works

Hydrocortisone Topical is a steroid. It blocks the production of some chemical messengers that cause inflammation, redness, swlling & other allergies in the body thereby improving the condition.
Crotamiton belongs to the class of drugs called as scabicidal drugs. It works by killing the mite that causes scabies. It is also anti-pruritic in action. It acts as a counter-irritant, producing a cooling effect as it evaporates from the skin, thereby providing relief from itching.
