Uses

Mesalazine / Mesalamine is generally used in treatment of the treatment of ulcerative colitis.

How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Mesalazine / Mesalamine, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Mesalazine / Mesalamine is to be taken with food.

How it works

Mesalazine / Mesalamine is an aminosalicylate. It makes the condition better by suppressing the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation (swelling) in the intestines. This reduces ulceration, bleeding and painful symptoms, and prevents fu disease.
