Uses

Aztreonam is generally used in treatment of the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is generally used in treatment of infections of various body parts like urinary tract, blood, brain, ear, skin and soft tissue, abdomen, bone, windpipe and lungs.

How it works

Aztreonam is an antibiotic. It makes the condition better by preventing the bacteria from forming a bacterial protective covering that's essential for the bacteria to survive, thereby killing them.
