Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Furosemide, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Furosemide is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

However, Torasemide has a long duration of action and is safe to use in patients with renal failure as compared to Furosemide.
