Uses

Epalrestat is generally used in treatment of the treatment of diabetic nerve pain.
Methylcobalamin is generally used in treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency.

How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Epalrestat, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Epalrestat is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How it works

Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which has been related to causing diabetic nerve disease.
Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
