How to use

Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. For directions before use, please check the label. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Domperidone is to be taken empty stomach.
Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Pantoprazole, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Pantoprazole is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.

How it works

Domperidone is a prokinetic. It acts to get the content of the stomach empty faster. The condition is improved by increasing the movement of the intestines, allowing the food to move easier within the stomach.
Pantoprazole belongs to the category of drugs called as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It's main action is a long-lasting reduction of stomach acid production that helps relieve acid related indigestion and heartburns.

  • Do not take Domperidone, if you are allergic to it or to any other content in the tablets.Do not take the medicine, if you notice black, tarry stools (bowel motions) or blood in your stools, blockage or tear in the intestines or if you have a tumor of the pituitary gland (prolactinoma).Do not take the drug, if you have moderate to severe liver disease, heart problems (irregular heart rate or heart failure) or abnormal salt levels in the blood.Do not crush or chew the tablets, swallow them whole with a glass of water.Do not take the drug if you intend to drive or operate heavy machinery as it may cause drowsiness.Always take the tablets 15 to 30 minutes before meals and, if needed, before going to bed at night.Consult your doctor, if you are above 60 years of age and taking Domperidone for a long period of time.Inform your doctor, if you are already taking medicines for fungal infections (ketoconazole) or antibiotics (e.g. gentamycin, erythromycin).
  • You have been prescribed Pantoprazole to reduce stomach acid and heal stomach ulcers.Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away.Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
